Sharon joined our design team in April of 2016, making us very happy. Our search for the ‘right stuff’ ended successfully.
Her path here started in the Chicago area. Born there, she moved around the states during her younger years.
“I earned my Bachelors degree in Interior Design from Harrington College of Design in Chicago, Illinois in 2005 and focused my career since in residential design.“
Sharon was a lead designer for one of the top design/build firms in Chicago before moving to the Pacific Northwest. Then, more recently, she worked at an interior design firm in Mulkiteo doing design work in the Seattle area.
“For as long as I can remember I have had a love, and a good eye, for design. Ultimately this led to my lifelong passion to become a designer.
“I find joy in working with people and getting to know them, determining the root of a problem or challenge and finding creative solutions for their home and family lifestyle. My goal is to design spaces that showcase each client’s unique style and personality in their home while making the new spaces more enjoyable and functional.
“The ultimate reward is seeing the resulting spaces that have been transformed and customized for each of my clients.”
Sharon met her husband James in Chicago in 2013 and then, in 2014, she moved here to the Pacific Northwest, which is where James is from.
“In the summer of 2015 my husband James and I got married… I gained a best friend and two active and very sweet step-sons.”
What does Sharon like to do when not designing cool spaces?
“I love cooking… all different cuisines, especially seafood, trying new recipes and restaurants. And I love traveling, hiking local trails and spending time with family.
“And my attraction to design, art and architecture includes a love for fashion… and shoes!”
