Our entire team in July of 2016 posing in our Community Bicycle Repair & Information Station, or C-BRIS, that we designed and built almost entirely with donated labor and materials! We built it in 2015 when the company turned 60 as a special ‘thank you’ to our community for decades of support. Come by and use the bike station for simple repairs and maintenance. It’s got lighting and tools and an air pump and maps and a whole lot of love…

The leadership of Rick Dubrow (President), Cindi Landreth (Vice President, Adaptations’ Manager and Designer), and Patrick Martin (Sales, Production Management, Estimating and Design) steer our design/build team, earning our reputation for innovative designs, attentive professionalism and a focus on excellence, sustainability and quality service.

Just what kind of design/build team do we offer you? In October 2014, for example, we employed 16 employees with an average of about 19.4 years of experience per person! That’s 310 years of human experience paying attention to your dream project. We know what does and doesn’t work because we’ve practically seen it all, thereby marrying practical solutions with an aesthetic, caring touch.

Whereas most construction firms hire folks on a project-by-project basis, our philosophy is far different.  We don’t want to use your project as a proving ground for unproven people!  The same holds true for our selection of subcontractors.  Sure, we can save some dough by shopping around for the least expensive electrician, for example, but we prefer to hire the sub who has proven themselves to us over numerous projects, over many years.  So our style as it relates to our own co-workers is to offer them a career path with solid wages and benefits; a package attractive enough to make this place their home for many, many years.

Taylor AyubiDoesn’t it make sense that the quality of the work we do for you will be directly proportional to the happiness coefficient of the people who work for you?  We think so.  So we have created a working environment proven to provide you with skilled, experienced and happy humans.

Furthermore, we believe that healthier humans make happier humans, so our fitness incentive program includes incorporating bicycling into our work.  Cycling and remodeling?  Sure thing!  This has already received national attention… check out American Bicyclist Magazine‘s May-June 2010 article about us right HERE.

It must be working, given the plethora of awards we’ve received and the testimonials our clients have written about us!

And our reach extends beyond our own doors: check out the Cascadia Weekly columns Rick has written, as well as the radio shows he has broadcasted on Bellingham’s low-power KMRE-FM radio station.

But it comes down to individuals, doesn’t it?  Who makes up this team of ours?  Let’s meet them now!

For convenience, we’ve categorized our staff into these groups so click on the team players you’d like to review:

Sure, we’re joking around here! Never did we expect to be able to pull this debris bin. Instead, this was a photo shoot for the national cycling article about us in the American Bicycle Magazine in 2010.
